SUMMARY
As a NATIONAL SALES MANAGER for Mendocino Farms you will direct and supervise a team of Area Sales Managers focused on building core and catering sales within their respective regions. Youll be an active member of the Sales and Marketing Team and help to shape sales strategy at a national and local level to ensure that the companys strategic initiatives and sales goals are met. You will work in lockstep with Operations on sales building at the local level.

The right candidate is a proven leader who has experience developing, leading, and motivating a sales team, is business minded, and can set goals and make progress against them. A successful National Sales Manager should be able to successfully source new sales opportunities, set reasonable targets to be achieved by the team and ensure those targets are met.

This role will be based in the Los Angeles area and will require monthly travel throughout the Mendocino Farms locations in Southern California, Northern California, Texas and Seattle.

KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Regularly review sales data and trends using the various methods and reporting tools available (Daily sales reports, score cards, and then use the data and personal
  • Develop sales team by providing ongoing training and development by giving specific and constructive feedback to foster development of skills and growth opportunities
  • Assist with the development of strategic and tactical plans for each market and ensure the completion of each, holding individuals accountable to assigned tasks
  • Analyze and evaluate sales activities as well as market trends and consumer needs
  • Collaborate on sales-building strategies and execution of marketing campaigns at the local level alongside Area Sales Managers and Ops

COMPETITIVE PAY
  • All Mendo Base Camp members are paid on a bi-weekly basis
QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience:
  • 2-3 years of relevant management experience with a skillset in both sales and marketing
  • Experience in restaurants, retail or convenience stores preferred
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
  • Passion for sales building and people management
  • Leadership: demonstrated ability to lead people, manage a team, and drive results
  • Collaboration: Ability to work with all different plays and functions, inspiring innovative and new ideas with peers, and holding other accountable
